What is Plink®?

Plink® is a Personal Savings program operated by Plink, Inc. (“Plink,” “Company,” “we” or “us”). On our technology-enabled platform, businesses take advantage of an array of data driven savings programs which help them generate incremental sales. Consumers receive personal savings when they make qualified transactions at participating Merchants using their personal credit or debit cards when linked to our Programs. Personal Savings come in a variety of forms, driven by the Merchants’ business type and what the participating Merchant chooses to offer. Personal Savings may come in the form of a discount, gift with purchase, rebate, gift cards, refunds, FancoinsTM or other forms as devised by us. Our platform serves as the facilitator between the participating Merchant and their participating consumers (“Program”).

What is the benefit to businesses?

Businesses are looking for new ways to generate interest and drive incremental purchases. We have created a platform for these businesses to generate interest by offering Personal Savings programs to their customers and potential customers. Our platform provides the infrastructure for these businesses to market Personal Savings and fulfill redemption. With our platform, businesses can provide Personal Savings to customers and communicate offers to potential new customers.

What is the benefit to consumers?

Consumers can shop, eat, and play at their favorite participating businesses and earn Personal Savings at those businesses in a frictionless system.

How can I join the program?

Start here! Provide the requested information to establish your participation and be sure to register your credit and debit cards making them eligible for the program.

Which businesses are participating?

We research the top businesses in each neighborhood and personally invite owners to join our platform. The current list of participating Businesses can be found here.

Why do I need to link a card to my account?

We leverage a new technology called "card linking" which allows us to access registered consumers’ transactions at our participating Merchants on top of the rails of the payment card network. We do not use punch cards or additional rewards trackers, but instead uses your existing credit or debit cards to track transactions and fulfill personalized offers. If consumers do not register to link their card, we have no way to confirm their transactions at our participating Merchants and we are unable to fulfill Personal Savings for these consumers. Our platform leverages technology that has been in place for decades – the credit and debit card processing networks. Through our proprietary platform and using secure data transmission, we receive transaction level data in order to match a registered consumer's card-based purchase with a participating Merchant and fulfill the offer through a seamless transaction.

What if I do not link my card(s)?

We will not be able to access your transactions at our participating Merchants and you will not be able to receive Personal Savings provided by these participating Merchants.

What if my card is already part of a rewards program?

There is no impact to any existing rewards programs or features associated with a consumer's credit or debit card. By registering your cards with us, you are simply allowing us to access your transactions made at our participating Merchants in order to fulfill the offer made by such Merchants.

What information is stored?

We store consumer names, emails, location information and transaction data in order to operate our platform, provide offers to consumers, and fulfill Personal Savings on behalf of our participating Merchants. Personal information is stored in a secured data infrastructure. We use a PCI compliant, tokenized structure to store registered payment cards in a vaulted, non-accessible structure. The vaulted, tokenized structure is the same used by the credit card industry to secure credit card information and does not allow for any individual to access credit card numbers, but instead uses tokenized code to pass transaction information to the card payment network in a secure manner. Can I recommend my favorite business to be included in the program?

If you would like to recommend a business to be contacted for inclusion in our Program, please send the Business Name, Address, Phone Number and Contact Person’s Name to info@plink.ai.

What is a Fancoin?

Fancoins are one form of Personal Savings that participating Merchants may offer. Fancoins are earned when shopping at participating Merchants and can be used to make qualified purchases in the Fanstore. The number of Fancoins earned for a qualified purchase are determined by participating Merchants.

What is the technology behind the platform?

We operate a technology platform that integrates the card processing network into its own proprietary system. We have entered into a variety of agreements to use card-linking technology to access consumer transactions made at our participating Merchants. Both Merchants and consumers affirmatively opt-in to these agreements. We have also built a sophisticated rules engine which allows participating Merchants to offer Personal Savings to registered consumers. Through our proprietary platform and using secure data transmission, we receive transaction level data in order to match a registered consumer's card-based purchase with a participating Merchant and fulfill the offer through a seamless transaction. This technology is part of what makes our platform different. There are no membership cards issued to consumers and no changes to a business's Point of Sale system.

Where can I see my offers from participating merchants and track my qualifying purchases and savings?

Your Plink Fanboard tracks your registered/eligible card activity at participating Merchants. You will receive offers from participating Merchants via email or on your Fanboard. You can see if you have outstanding offers within the Fanboard. You can access your Fanboard by logging into your account.

When is my card active?

When you successfully enroll your card with us it becomes eligible for the program, and your card will be immediately be active in the system. You can make purchases at participating businesses right away.

Can I opt out at any time?

Yes, you can opt out at any time, there is no obligation. You can opt out by contacting us at info@plink.ai.  Your email must specify your name, address, phone number, and email address associated with your account, and confirm that you wish to be removed from the Program. It may take up to 7 business days for your cancellation to complete.  If you have already linked a card, simply remove your linked card(s) from the Manage Cards section and you will no longer receive Personal Savings.  At the time of opting out, you forfeit any Personal Savings and/or Fancoins you may have earned that might otherwise have been available to you during your continued participation in the Program   You can also re-activate at any time.  For additional information, please contact us at info@plink.ai.

Is there a cost to join the program?

No. There are no fees for joining or maintaining your participation in the Program.

When do I begin earning personal savings?

You begin earning Personal Savings once you register at least one card and use that eligible card to make a qualifying purchase through our platform or at a participating Merchant. Savings may take up to two (2) weeks to appear in your account.

How is the information I provide used?

The Privacy and Security of your personal information is very important to us. The personal information you provide is subject to use as outlined in our Privacy Policy and Privacy Notice, which are available on our website. Be sure to refer to the Privacy Policy for our data processor(s) as well, which are incorporated into our Privacy Policy by reference.

How do I check my account status?

Log into your account using your credentials. Your account status and Fancoins balance will show at the top of the screen.

Does my participation or savings expire?

If you do not use your account for 12 months, your opt-in to card linking will terminate and you will need to reactivate your card linking making the card eligible. Each offer you redeem will have specific restrictions and redemption requirement tied specifically to the offer. Be sure to refer to the specific offer rules when redeeming an offer.

Can my participation be revoked?

Your membership in the Program can be revoked by us, in our sole discretion, at any time. Any abuse of the Program; failure to follow any of the Terms of Service; membership inactivity for more than twelve (12) months; misrepresentation; or conduct that may be detrimental to Plink or our interests may result in the revocation of your membership and make you ineligible for further participation in the Program. If, in our sole discretion, we suspect fraud, misrepresentation, abuse, or violation of these Terms, we also have the right to take appropriate legal action.

Can I terminate/cancel my participation?

We certainly hope you retain your membership! If you find the need to cancel, there is no obligation or fee and you can cancel by contacting us at info@plink.ai.  Your email must specify your name, address, phone number, and email address associated with your account, and confirm that you wish to be removed from the Program. It may take up to 7 business days for your cancellation to complete.

What happens to my savings if I terminate / cancel my participation?

If you cancel your participation, you forfeit any Personal Savings and/or Fancoins you may have earned that might otherwise have been available to you during your continued participation in the Program. If you wish to return to the Program after cancelling your membership, you will be required to join the Program again starting with no Fancoins or available Savings.

How do I update my member account information?

To update your Member account information, you must log in to your account. Once logged in, you can update your personal information on the Manage Profile and Manage Cards menu selections.

What if I forgot my password?

If you have forgotten your password, go to the Log In page and click on the “Forgot Password” link. You will then be prompted to enter the email address associated with your www.plink.ai account, and a temporary password will be emailed to that email address. Follow the prompts in the email to create a new password.
